Just a quick note to say.....

to my new followers who have joined me via blog hops. I hope you are enjoying what I have to say.

Since it is a bank holiday weekend I have time on my hands to plan ahead for my blog so keep following as I have a long list of products to tell you about. I am also looking into the possibility of organising a giveaway, it just needs a bit more research.

It is nice to have some time on my hands to surf the internet as I find it the best way to discover new products. One that has caught my eye today is cupcakeorganic.com. I am drawn in by the super cute packaging and attractive website, I love it. The most important part for me is when I read "We do not use any petrochemicals, perfumes, dyes, parabens, sulfates, ureas, fillers or any other caustic substances in any products."

My second find of the weekend came via annabellacinderella and her product review on ELF. I checked out the website with the assumption that ELF would not cater to my chemical free requirements, how wrong was I? The mineral products are 100% mineral based with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes and not tested on animals. Straight away I am attracted to the lipsticks (£3.50) and glosses (£3.00). The prices are unbelievable. I hyperventilated when I click on the nail polishes the formula is free of Toluene, Formaldehyde, and Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP). I have not tried chemical free nail polishes because they cost £10+ so I did a double take when I read £1.50 each. I think I can feel a spending spree coming on!

  1. Thanks for the info! I love to paint my little girl's fingernails and toenails but had a roofer once tell me that they use the same things in the tar they put the shingles on with as they do in the polish. It kind of freaked me out. I'd love to find something that is safe for them to chew off!

  2. Yes it is pretty shocking what goes into beauty products. I see you are in US so have you heard of http://www.piggypaint.com/for children? Also you may wish to opt for a nail varnish remover that is free from acetone & methanol
