New Zealand Brand: Natural Living Concealer in Light

Natural Living Concealer
I probably have mentioned this before but my make up collection consists of the bare minimum of products. My skin is hyper sensitive, my eyes are my most sensitive area I have not used a mascara or eye shadow since my teens 99% of the time I will break out in a rash or eczema. It does not matter if it is a high street brand or natural it can still cause me problems.

I have been looking for a natural concealer. I am lucky to only suffer with occasional pimples so my main use for a concealer is around my eyes where I have dark circles and hyper pigmentation (brown spots). After hours of research I purchased Natural Living Liquid Concealer in Light. It has good reviews and price wise one of the cheaper natural brands (but I still think it’s expensive I paid £12). Natural Living is a 100% natural brand from New Zealand with a very impressive free from list click here. They have formulated an extensive skin care and cosmetic range using my favourite natural ingredient Manuka Oil/Honey.

I have swatch the concealer next to Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer in 51 Light Radiance. Even though they are both in the colour Light you can see there is a big difference. Natural Living is too dark for me but works better if I mix it with my foundation.

The texture is light and easy to work with. I like the packaging as it has a thin long nozzle and helps to ensure you don't over squeeze and waste product. On its own the coverage is fair it does not make my dark circles ‘disappear’ but it does tone down some of the imperfection. Overall, I am sitting on the fence with this product. I don’t hate it but I am not madly in love with it either.

  1. I have very sensitive skin so I have to be very careful about the products I use. I also do not wear make-up very often. A good product that I have found for my face is St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Take care and have a good week.

  2. @Judy thanks for the comment & recommendation, as far as I am aware St Ives is not a chemical free brand? My favourite scrub is from Dr Organic

  6. I have used some of Living Nature's products before - They're quite good, but the price is a bit high for me.

  7. @Beauty Junkie I've had samples of the skin care and I liked it but I am the same as you they are not within my budget, I had a bit of money saved up so thats the only reason I splurged on this occasion :)

  8. I have tried a moisturiser from Living Nature and remember liking it! Never knew they did makeup. The concealer looks great, love the packaging. Hope you like it more as you use it :)

  10. Hi Sugarpuffish, new follower here and loving your posts. I also don't wear much make-up due to sensitive skin and I only use Organic products (this has now spilled into the house and garden too lol). I clicked on your concealer label as this is something I really have difficulty finding in order to cover up my dark circles, also within lower budget. I'll keep searching in my quest and if I find anything worthwhile I'll let you know :)

    1. Thank you for following, I still have not found my holy grail natural concealer, this one ended up stinging my eyes after I had been using it for a while, so I would love to know if you discover something better.
