Blogger Interview - BeautyBeeLondon

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Hello everyone! I'm Beccy from beautybeelondon. I'm originally from the beautiful city of Bath, but for the last three years have been trying to find my feet in the Big Smoke. A bizarre combination of tom-boy and girlie-girl, I love running, rugby, Love Actually and all things beauty. I'm petrified of flying.

2. Why did you decide to start your blog?
I've long been a reader of blogs, and as a beauty obsessive, I decided I wanted to join the party!

3. How would you describe your blogging style?
I was going to say friendly with a good sense of humour, but then it dawned on me that that would probably be more appropriate to the personal section of the newspaper! Nonetheless, I try to write as if I'm talking to a good friend - I think it's really important for the blogger's personality to shine through.

4. What do you think is the best thing about blogging?
The community, finding new and wonderful products, and getting so many different opinions and perspectives on practically everything!

5. What inspires you when it comes to your blog?
So many different things - whether it's a pretty photo, or a new product that I've just discovered (even if everyone else has long since discovered it!). The main thing is to enjoy what you write about and that will give you the inspiration and motivation to continue.

6. What do you find most challenging when blogging about your topic?
Good question! Sometimes if I've tried a product that everyone else seems to have loved and I personally can't stand it, it can be nerve-wracking putting your opinion out there, but it's important to go with it and tell another side of the story!

7. Where are your favourite places to shop? (high street or online)

I'm sure this probably changes constantly, but at the moment I love Zara, Whistles and Feelunique.com (one of them had to be beauty related!)

8. Has blogging changed the way you make purchasing decisions?
Oh yes, definitely. I am very unlikely to now buy a new product without first trying to read different reviews on it.

9. What is your all time favourite brand? (cosmetic, clothing or anything else)
It would have to be Chanel despite all I own being a nail varnish and the iconic Chanel No. 5. To me, it perfectly sums up effortless glamour, and one day, when I have the winning lottery ticket under my belt, I will have my very own Chanel bag!

10. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
Hunger. Harrowing scenes of civilians in other countries going through famine should not be happening in the 21st Century. I don't know what can be done, but surely there must be something.
