Green People Eye Cream

Green People Eye Cream

I have never been someone who buys eye cream on a regular basis. The few I have brought, I either lost interest in them or they caused irritation. My eyes are super sensitive and I can get tiny eczema patches in the outer corner. The other month I looked in the mirror and it suddenly dawned on me that my eyes looked dreadful. I decided it was time to invest in a cream.

Aside from finding a suitable sensitive formulation I was not willing to spend large amounts of money. Hours of research later I chose to buy Green People eye cream. They do offer the choice between a day and night cream. I decided that using something overnight was the better option for me because my morning routine is always rushed. There is nothing nicer than waking up to beautiful pampered skin. I bought the Soothing Nourishing Night Treat Eye cream from Feelunique. Let me point out that Green People’s website are calling it Rejuvenating Eye Cream so I am guessing they have changed the name.

Green People have a great ingredient policy. Formulations or products are not tested on animals, products are suitable for Vegetarians and most are registered with the Vegan Society. They are free from parabens, SLS, lanolin, ethyl alcohol, artificial perfumes, petrochemicals, phthalates and colourants.

Green People Eye Cream

I was pleasantly surprised that the cream has a light consistency. I assumed it would heavy since facial night creams tend to be thicker. I think there is very little fragrance but apparently it is scent with geranium. I have not suffered any irritation or breakouts of eczema which is a huge relief. The benefit of using this cream is I do feel as if my skin is plumper. Prior to using, what had prompted my purchase was I felt my eyes had become sunken and the skin dull in colour.

Overall, I really like this cream, would happily repurchase and recommend to others. With continual use I do believe it can live up to the promise of rejuvenation. Best of all I love the price £7.65 from Feelunique or £8.50 direct from Green People (FYI - 10ml tube size).

Have you tried Green People skincare? What did you think? Do you have a favourite eye cream?

    1. I was wondering what the day version would be like, I am just so lazy first thing in the morning, I'd forget to apply for some reason I am better at remembering things before bed :)

  3. I just squealed with delight when I read I could order this from FeelUnique.com and the shipping is free! I live in the states and the shipping from the Green People website is £12! My friend Catherine sent me some goodies from this brand and I loved them! She sent my kiddo (22 months) the Organic Babies Salve and that has been the best thing for his extremely sensitive skin. He also suffers from eczema (had it since he was diagnosed with food allergies.) We were using Earth Mama Angel Baby lotion, but that is scented naturally with vanilla and orange and that did nothing for his dry patches :(

I want to try this eye cream. I have tried the Gentle Cleanse & Make-Up Remover and Fruitful Nights Night Cream. Both are excellent. xx

    1. That's great you Feelunique ships to you. They have an ever expanding range of natural/organic products. Sorry to hear about your little one, I know how that feels. Have you tried Shea Butter? you do have to be careful if he has a nut allergy shea may not be suitable. It's very good for me on dry patches.

    2. His pediatrician recommended we find something with Shea butter in it (EMAB) and it's not a bad lotion at all... maybe I'll end up using the salve on the dry patches. It's a 0 on EWG. He has an egg/dairy/peanut/soy allergy and I think he may have an almond and cashew allergy as well... he's getting tested again soon. Anyway, sorry for the ramble!

I'm constantly reading labels... a lot of organic bug repellents contain soy oil! Didn't know this, was about to use some on him and it was a good thing I read the label. Oh goodness.

    3. I don't have peanut or soy allergy but I am realising how hard it is to avoid those from another reader. It is in everything. Cocoa butter may also be an eczema option for you. Feel free to ramble :)
