Dr Organic Lavender Skin Lotion

Dr Organic Lavender Skin Lotion

I have had this tube of skin lotion for ages it was an RT win on Twitter. I love Dr Organic products and have previously blogged about my firm favourites. For those of you not familiar with the brand the range is free from parabens, sls, artificial colours, harsh chemicals, fragrances and preservatives. Products are suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans and Dr Organic is against animal testing. If you would like to see my other reviews click here - Manuka Face MaskPomegranate Face CreamHand creamsManuka Face Scrub

It is probably not going to surprise you that I like the skin lotion. Lavender is one of my favourite fragrances and is perfect for sensitive skin. Dr Organic use pure essential oils resulting in a beautiful sharp scent that does not remind me of old ladies. This lotion is light but not milky or runny. My skin absorbs it easily and I love using it on my legs after shaving. I highly recommend and it is budget friendly.

Dr Organic is available on the high street at Holland & Barrett. Full size tubes 200ml (mine is trial size) cost around £6 - £7. If you do not like Lavender it is also available in Tea Tree, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Pomegranate, Moroccan Argan Oil, Coconut, Manuka, Royal Jelly, Rose Otto.

Have you tried Dr Organic products?

    1. I can't fault their products, they do the job I want & at a nice price. Clever idea with the manuka cream but also pleased you are enjoying the hand creams. When my pomegranate face cream runs out manuka is next on the list, simply because you love it :)

  4. I've had some feeback via Twitter that a follower didn't like this cream because "just didn't seem to moisturise for very long at all". I can't say I've noticed this but my skin is in good condition at the moment, once the colder snowy weather sets in it might be a different story. Perhaps very dry skins may want to keep this for the summer months?

  5. This was the first Dr Organic I tried. Smells nice but it was no good as a moisturiser. Admittedly, my legs do get quite dry but this seemed a very 'light' cream that would only be any good in summer but then it might be a bit greasy for warmer days.

    1. Yes I don't disagree with you and I made a comment about that above yours. Try shea butter or coconut oil if you need something to hydrate skin.
