Suvana Organic Paw Paw & Honey Balm

Suvana Organic Paw Paw & Honey Balm

I've mentioned before my number one hero product is papaya (paw paw) balm.  It's a fantastic multi purpose product and one I would not be without. My favourite brand is no longer manufactured so last year I switched to Pure Papaya (link to review). My only complaint with Pure Papaya is the strong fragrance. Not an issue on my body but I began to dislike on my lips. I decided to buy Suvana paw paw and honey balm. Suvana's balm is 98.1% organic and 100% natural, free from petrochemicals and other nasties. It has a very delicate hint of honey which is not intrusive.

I would describe this balm as having a silky texture and not sticky on skin. You can pretty much use this anywhere for a variety of aliments. I often use it to treat any sudden itchy eczema patches. Out of all the multi purpose balms I own, this is the one that stays in my handbag because of the convenient packaging.

Now if anyone says to me they use Lucas Pawpaw Ointment I will have to put you on the naughty step. That is a petroleum based product and you all know my feelings on that ingredient. If you want to purchase pawpaw/papaya ointments I'll let you into a little secret, this is the website I've used for as long as I can remember www.pawpawshop.co.uk. Suvana paw paw balm is priced at £7.75 for a 25g tube.

Ingredients: *Ricinus Communis (castor) Seed Oil, *Cera Alba (Beeswax), *Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, *Theobroma Cocao (Cocoa Butter), Carica Papaya (Paw Paw), *Mel (Honey), *Buxus Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, *Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla Bean) Oil, Euphorbia Ceifera (Candelilla) Wax, Daucus Carota Sativa (carrot) Oil, Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni Extract, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E). *ingredients from organic farming. The ointment contains 42mg/gm of fresh fermented pawpaw.

  1. This sounds gorgeous!! I'll have to pick it up. I'm going to confess that I did buy Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, used it once and then realised that it had petroleum in and then gave it away to friends.

    1. Nevermind, we all make mistakes from time to time & without the ingredients to Lucas it's easy not to realise :)

  4. Sounds great! I love multipurpose products. I have a Pure Papaya one in my stash somewhere, but this sounds like it has a much nicer scent x
