Bathing Beauty - Natural Bath & Beauty Products

As you may have read I recently visited The Allergy & Free From Show. There were a large number of food exhibitors but thanks to the Free From Skincare Awards there is also a beauty side to the show. One exhibitor I was keen to meet was George of Bathing Beauty; her Up Close Men’s Shave Oil won Silver in the Men’s Grooming category.

George is an osteopath and ex international fashion model and when combined with three sensitive skinned children, she created the beautiful product range that is Bathing Beauty. Products are handmade in Ruthin, North Wales and most of the ingredients are sourced locally. All products are free from animal testing and many are suitable for Vegans.
George very kindly gave me some sample products – POP effervescent foot reviving tablet, SOCK foot salve and SOOTHE body oil infusion. I really enjoyed using POP and realised that I do not pamper my feet as often as I should. It was very relaxing to sit in front of the TV and soak my feet. The tablet dissolved quickly in the water and the aroma came from peppermint. There is peach kernel oil in the tablet so that explains the silky texture to the water. I did not find it greasy so it was not problem walking around after using the treatment. SOCK is a balm that compliments POP and advisable to use overnight. It was equally a pleasure to use and I will continue to pamper my feet with it. As for the body oil, its early days but I am putting it through its paces on my stubborn eczema. It contains lavender and calendula so it is something I would naturally gravitate towards.

I know I have not had these products for a great length of time but first impression are positive and I am planning to buy some more products, POP is on my shopping list. I highly recommend browsing the website (bathing-beauty.co.uk). Definitely have a look at the Face Tea as it's rather unique and intriguing. Hand on my heart, I can tell you it’s companies like this one that give me a genuine passion for natural skincare. I really do not understand the attraction of high street products when you can find truly natural skincare from a wonderful company such as Bathing Beauty.

What do you think? Are you tempted to buy some products?
