Review: Pai Fragonia & Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream

Review Pai Fragonia & Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream
Pai is a brand I love. I may not be a regular customer but I like their range and they are top of my list when recommending products for sensitive skin. I was reorganising my skincare at the weekend and realised I had not written about Pai Fragonia & Sea Buckthorn hand cream.

This cream has a nice light texture with a golden colour from the sea buckthorn. I have noticed sea buckthorn is an ingredient cropping up all over the place. It is a super food with more health benefits than acai and goji berries. I have read that topical application of the oil can help with conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. I do find that my hands can absorb this cream quickly so I am not left with a greasy feeling making it suitable to use during the working day. It does have an interesting fragrance, I am not sure how I would describe it but I do find it pleasant.

Review Pai Fragonia & Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream

I have been more than happy with the way my skin responds to this hand cream. I think it keeps dryness at bay and feels luxurious. As with all Pai products there are no nasty ingredients (full list is available on Pai's website), this is suitable for Vegans and certified organic by The Soil Association. In comparison to my favourite Dr Organic Manuka Hand Cream, I like them equally but Pai is more expensive (£16 - 50ml).

Pai products are readily available online (Content BeautyLucyrose**). Have you tried Pai's hand cream? How does it compare to the others you been using?

  1. This sounds great Sarah! I am a huge fan of hand creams mainly because I can't stand dry skin but I have yet to find the perfect one for me. Most leave such an awful greasy layer on my skin which is not ideal for during the day when I have to handle all kinds of things like paper and my laptop and pens, etc.

    1. I do find it a bit of trial and error with hand cream like you I'm at a PC all day so don't like a greasy feeling. This one works well for me :)

  2. I've heard so many amazing things about Pai, but it's just the price that makes me keep putting off buying a product. The hand cream does sound lovely though and I think as a sensitive skin sufferer I'll definitely try out something from the range soon :) x

    1. I know what you mean about price I tend to treat myself to these products when I'm feeling flush or have some vouchers :)

  3. Ooohh soo luscious!! I love that yellow-mustard colour, looks very nourishing! I like a good hand cream too that doesn't leave my hands greasy since they tend to get dry.

    1. My hands are driest in the winter but I will use it all year round. It's a nice thin consistency but the choice of ingredients are the key to nourishing the skin :)
