Review Terre Verdi Rejuvenating Facial Serum

Terre Verdi Rejuvenating Facial Serum
I first spotted Terre Verdi on Twitter as they recently entered the Free From Skincare Awards 2015. Alessandra is the founder of Terri Verdi, she turned her love of home grown skincare into a business and her native Sicily is the inspiration for the products. The range uses natural ingredients and consists of face and body products.

I was given the opportunity to sample the Rejuvenating Facial Serum*, a blend of almond oil, apricot kernel oil, lavender, frankincense, Vitamin E and rosemary. The ingredients are a good mix making this product suitable for all skin types. Lavender and Frankincense are known for their anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties along with their calming sedative fragrance. Almond oil is a good emollient and apricot is recommended for sensitive, mature and dry skin types.

I would describe the Rejuvenating Facial Serum as lightweight which my dry skin easily absorbs. The scent is pungent with lavender being the dominate note for my sense of smell. I must admit I have to be in the right mood to use this serum. I do favour products with lighter scents.

I commend Terre Verdi for having full ingredients listed on the website. My only minor criticism, which I have been told is due to be corrected, is lack of essential oils allergens on the bottle label. I also spotted the wording “free from parabens, chemicals, fragrances, colourings” and I would encourage any company to stop using “chemicals” in their marketing. I have already written a blog post on this topic, click here to read why I believe companies should not claim their products to be “chemical free”.

Overall, Terre Verde Rejuvenating Facial Serum is a pleasant product which I think many would enjoy using and I recommend you have a browse of their website.
