Review: Botanicals Therapeutic Foot Soak

Botanicals Therapeutic Foot Soak Review

My new favourite way to relax is with foot soaks. It is a simple pleasure to take ten minutes of "me time". I have two ways of using a foot soak. I will add to a bowl of water and relax in front of the TV or I fill the bath with enough water to cover my feet, take a shower and enjoy the aroma from the steam (I have a shower over the bath rather than separate cubicle).

I have reviewed a few foot soaks over the years but recently I have been testing Botanicals Therapeutic Foot Soak*. Botanicals is an awarding winning brand which I know well from the Free From Skincare Awards. Products are certified organic with the Soil Association, suitable for Vegans and free from synthetic ingredients. This foot soak contains Himalayan rock crystal, Dead Sea salt and essential oils of spearmint, wild mint and tea tree. These are ingredients which sooth sore feet and the strong minty fragrance uplifts your senses. Botanicals have two other products in their footcare range that compliment the soak - revitalising foot scrub & foot softening balm. The trio of products are perfect for anyone who likes at home pedicures.

Botanicals Therapeutic Foot Soak

If you have never tried to re-create a spa treatment at home,  here are some Botanicals Pedicure Pointers - sprinkle Therapeutic Foot Soak into a bowl of warm water. Relax and unwind whilst soaking your feet for 10 minutes. Then pat dry. Follow by mixing a teaspoon of Revitalising Foot Scrub with a little warm water. Massage vigorously over your feet and rinse away with warm water. Pat feet dry. Finish by applying a pea sized amount of Foot Softening Balm onto each foot and massage until absorbed.

Botanicals Therapeutic Soak is a product which I am happy to recommend. With summer just around the corner it could be the perfect way to get your feet flip flop ready. If you are like me and stress about life 24/7 then I would suggest trying foot soaks for relaxation, many people believe reflexology to be a powerful complementary therapy.
