You’ll have heard me mention the Vegan brand Green Keratin before now and will know that I have enjoyed using many of their products. They have kindly given me a sneak peak of their new range “Precious Cacay” which launched on 2nd May.
So I was in a little bit of a dilemma, I can’t offer a review at this stage but I am keen to spread the word because these products contain an interesting ingredient, Cacay seed oil (Caryodendron orinocense).
Here’s what I discovered about Cacay (pronounced kahk-ai).
- from an Amazon tree that produces a nut (seed) from which the oil is extracted.
- 3 times more Vitamin A (aka retinol) than rosehip
- 50% more Vitamin E and twice the amount of Linoleic Acid than Argan oil
- anti-aging, skin nourishing and rejuvenating properties
If you'd like to check out the range for yourself, hop across to Green Keratin's website www.greenkeratin.co.uk.
