Review Five Natural and Organic Brands with Rosehip Facial Oil

Peachykeen Organics who were originally featured in this review have ceased trading so I'm editing this post.

Rosehip Oil remains one of my favourite ingredients to this very day (now 2020!). This liquid gold is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants which are integral for cell and tissue regeneration in the skin. Rosehip is great for maintaining the overall condition of your skin, it's perfect for dehydrated, mature skin types. It will moisturise, treat wrinkles, brighten, even out skin tone, firm skin and fade scarring. I tested the latter out when I had key hole surgery a few years ago. I applied when the wounds were healed (with the doctors sign off). I've been very happy with the outcome, my scars are not easily visible and this has been commented on in check ups. I'll add that having delicate skin prone to eczema has caused me to easily bruise and visibly scar after spots or cuts. Rosehip oil has really made a difference in my skin over the years.

Here are five recommended brands that sell Rosehip Oil

A'kin Certified Organic Rosehip Oil - this is a best seller for Australian brand, Akin and one of the first oils I ever tried

Alucia Organics Certified Organic CO2 Rosehip Oil - most methods of extraction are "cold pressed" but Alucia is different they use state-of-the-art supercritical CO2 extraction

Conscious Skincare Rosehip Oil (Cold Pressed) - whilst others use glass bottles and pipettes, this is packaged in eco friendly aluminium EPA lined bottle with 100% biodegradable paper label

Fushi Organic Rosehip Seed Oil - Fushi fresh-pressed beauty oils are sourced directly from growers. They're unrefined, organic, pure and cold-pressed to preserve their efficiency.

Sukin Organic Rose Hip Oil - another famous Australian brand, describes this one as - "Our Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is our holy grail, multi use product"
