Peppy Galore Diva Cleansing Oil & Toner (NO LONGER TRADING)

I found Peppy Galore on Twitter and when I was kindly offered the opportunity to sample products I accepted. I received the Diva Cleansing Oil and Toner for sensitive skin and the Vanilla Ice Cream Body Mousse.

Peppy Galore products are free from parabens, SLS, SLES, silicones and petrochemicals. They are made in the UK (Bristol) using 100% renewable gas and electricity and not tested on animals. The product range consists of cleansing oils, toners, body mousses, soaps and caters for sensitive, normal or oily skin types.

You all know I love cleansing oils and as long as the ingredients are natural it is hard to find fault with them. Peppy Galore’s oil is very nice and the pump bottle is handy for dispensing the product without spillages. The ingredients are very simple and there are no added fragrances in the Diva cleansing oil Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil, Macadamia Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Calendula Oil, Vitamin E, Vanilla infusion. I was asked how this product smells and to be honest I have a fickle sense of smell not helped by being a hayfever sufferer, a stuffy nose is a common occurrence these days. There are days when I get a hint of vanilla and other times I do not notice an aroma. If you are familiar with Antipodes Rejoice cream then I would say that Antipodes has a stronger vanilla scent than this cleansing oil.

The toner is free from alcohol and contains few ingredients (Rose Water, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid). I am not a huge fan of rose fragrance but Peppy Galore’s Diva Toner is very pleasant. I know not everyone believes in using a toner but I do find they compliment cleansing oils.

Finally, the vanilla body mousse is rich but a light and whipped consistency. This one does smell sugary and sweet from the vanilla. Ingredients: Mango Butter, Avocado Oil, Vitamin E, Vanilla Infused in Sunflower Oil. If you like body butters then I am sure you will enjoy this. As you would expect it feels luxurious on the skin and requires a longer amount of time to sink in compared to a body lotion. I particularly enjoy body butters on my legs after shaving as I feel they can help combat dryness. The mousse is also available in Fruit Punch (mandarin & grapefruit) and Herb de Provence (Rosemary, Lavender & Peppermint).

Overall, I think Peppy Galore have some nice products which are fun, affordable and effective. The founder Jessi is a lovely lady who is very passionate about her products and ingredients. I commend her for thinking of us sensitive types by removing added fragrance, as not everyone is able to handle essential oils. I have honestly enjoyed using all the products I was sent and feel happy to recommend to my readers.

What do you think? Do these products appeal to you?
