Disappointing Product: Nourish Organic Body Wash Fresh Fig

Nourish Organic Body Wash Fresh Fig
It’s not very often that I write about disappointing products and the reason for that is not because I shy away from them, it has more to do with the fact that I take time over choosing products so they do not often let me down. Not to be confused with the UK brand of a similar name, Nourish Organic is from the USA and has a very impressive “pledge of purity” or as I would say “free from ethic”. According to the bottle sat in front of me, ingredients are free from parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, artificial fragrance or preservatives, silicones, propylene glycol, mineral oils, sulphates, synthetic dyes, triclosan, EDTA and aluminium.

I read reviews and added the Fresh Fig Body Wash to my Christmas Wish List and was excited to find it under the tree. Sadly, this product was a disappointment from the start. I dislike the fragrance. It is not offensive but there is something about it which does not suit me and with time it did not grow on me. My other criticism is I could not get a decent lather. I am used to low foaming products, I do not mind them but I expect a few bubbles. This did nothing and it may simple be due to the fact that I live in a hard water area. From past experience, I know that can affect performance, shampoos and body washes also seems to lather differently depending on your location. I certainly can not find fault in the ingredients list but I am sad to say that is as far as it goes for me.

Nourish Organics is not easy to obtain in the UK but you can buy from Amazon, iHerb or Vitacost. Have you tried any products in their range? What did you think of them?
