My Blog Review - 2015 Edition

Sugarpuffish Blog Review for 2015 a look back a my favourite products and events
2015 is officially coming to an end and I'm keeping up with my tradition to look back at personal highlights from another year of blogging.

New to Me Beauty Brands
Once again the amount of new brands I discovered this year just goes to show the growth in Green Beauty. The stand out brands for me were Little OndineRed Apple LipsticksMallow & WhiteGreen KeratinThe Green Woman

Free From Foods
It's been a good year for free from foods and my favourites have been Pudology Yogs (coconut yoghurts), Cocoa Libre (dairy free chocolates) and Moral Fibre (healthier snacks).

Green Brands Around the Home
It's a small category on my blog so not much competition but I loved discovering Petit Rituels candles and wax melts. I hope their popularity grows in 2016.

New Experiences
In May I was invited back for another year helping judge for the Free From Skincare Awards. It's a wonderful experience and I love being involved. In July my life changed from girlfriend to fiancĂ©e and I've spent the tail end of the year planning our wedding. In 2016 I will officially become someone's wife which is freaky and exciting all at the same time. In September I co-hosted the Gorgeously Green Gathering which was hard work but an amazing experience. It was a pleasure to work with awesome brands and meet up with fellow Green Bloggers. Jen and I decided to bite the bullet and organise a repeat event for September 2016.

Health
I started my year with the diagnosis of Seborrhoeic dermatitis, Urticaria and a sensitivity to Linalool and MIT (Methylisothiazolinone). The dermatitis is still with me and my love of Lavender had to go out the window as I have dramatically reduced my exposure to linalool. I am deeply sad about this but I have noticed fewer flare ups.

Holidays
After a wonderful trip to Lisbon in 2014 we decided to return to Portugal this time visiting Porto. It is a beautiful city which tested my fitness levels to the max, the hills were killer in the heat.

Popular Blog Posts
It is interesting for me (and I hope you) to look over what posts gained the highest views in the past 12 months. The top two were about my Dermatologist appointment and Seborrheic Dermatitis diagnosis. These were followed by Simplify your RoutineNatural & Organic Vegan SkincareNew brands found at NOPE 2015Natural Skincare for Teens & Oily SkinMy favourite Organic brands and finally a rant about a poorly written article on food intolerance and allergies.

What were your highlights from 2015?

A Happy New Year everyone!
