We are surrounded with beauty innovations but Rose is a timeless ingredient, an old faithful that many would argue you can't beat. It's a powerful extract proven to be toning, moisturising, antibacterial, therapeutic, antioxidant and anti inflammatory.

Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser is a luxurious, soothing and regenerative day cream. Of course it's suitable for most skin types (combination, normal-dry, mature) but may particularly appeal to those with sensitive skin, including people prone to rosacea. Rose is calming on redness and promotes skin restoration. The formulation also include rosehip, sea buckthorn, aloe vera, shea butter, jojoba and coconut. These are ingredients which soothe, hydrate and protect our skin.

At first I thought Odylique Rose Moisturiser feels too light in texture but it's surprisingly powerful. It feels silky on skin, applies easily and absorbs perfectly. Even though I think this is intended as a day cream, I've happily applied as part of my night time routine. I'm not overly concerned about ageing despite being in my 40's but it's always interesting to know the properties of a natural skincare product. Those of you with skin concerns may be interested to learn that Timeless Rose Moisturiser is high in antioxidants to reduce fine lines and counteract the ageing and collagen-destroying effects of 'free radicals' and sunlight

I'll be the first to say rose isn't my preferred fragrance. I'm of the opinion that you can always tell when a formulator is being cheap with their ingredients as rose oils are the first to give away your secret. Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser has a delightful, gentle rose aroma which is testament to the quality and care which goes into every product.

I'd be very hard pushed to come up with any negatives towards this face cream. I can see why Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser has many fans including my Mum (she's been using it for years). I am in a fortunate position to have products sent to me but I honestly do spend my own money on Odylique on a regular basis. Even if I gave up my blog I would continue to purchase products, you all know I can't be without my Gentle Herb Shampoo, I've been using it weekly for 7+ years.
