Original Post Updated for 2024

Easter products for those with dietary restrictions are fairly easy to find in the big Supermarkets, even Aldi has upped their game this year. You'll find branded and own brand easter treats on the shelves in most stores. Please do check ingredient labels and remember Vegan chocolate isn't always suitable for Milk allergy.

Cocoa Libre - artisan chocolate eggs are available suitable for allergies including nut free

Moo Free - this is a brand catering for allergies, available direct or in retailers, Free From Rocky Road Easter Egg and Strawberry Sundae are looking tempting this year

NoMo - I'm totally addicted to Cookie Dough Bunny, I've usually eaten a million of them before Easter! Ultimate Egg Bunnies & Mini Bars is top of my wish list

Mummy Meegz - if you are missing Creme Eggs then Chuckie Egg is your vegan alternative, I purchased a 3 x egg box at Waitrose

Happi - Oat Milk chocolate Easter Eggs in three flavours - Plain, Orange and Salted Caramel

Kakoa - a range of luxury Easter eggs alongside truffle eggs in a variety of flavours, I'm currently eyeing up cookies & cream and peanut butter

Ombar - you have a choice of Coco M'lk or Oat M'lk for these Easter Eggs

Firetree - whilst they may not have a egg shaped chocolate in their collection, I had to mention this beautiful, luxurious chocolate if you want an extra special treat

Vegan Dairy Free Creme Egg
I have tried a Cadbury creme egg, not the wisest of decisions I ever made but I was a desperate fool in my youth. Thanks to the increased popularity of vegan food a whole new world of dairy free treats have become available to me. Every Easter I am making up for lost time by treating myself to a dairy free egg and now I can add dairy free/vegan creme eggs to my shopping list.

I bought my first creme egg from Vegan Tuck Box and at a random guess they were probably supplied by The Chocolate Wendy House. The fondant was sweet with a good consistency but the chocolate was a little on the dark and bitter side for my personal taste. The second egg came from Consider It. I am already a fan of their truffle bars having bought from them a couple of times. For me the chocolate on their egg was better quality and a softer taste. The fondant also had a good consistency and a nicer taste than the first egg.

In the Vegan creme egg crackdown it’s definitely no yoke Consider It is egg-cellent :D

I recently took part in a beauty swap with Mary from Pure Makeup.  I received my parcel last weekend and it contain some lovely goodies. Here is a list of what Mary sent to me - Indigo Wild Zum Bag, Livpurely Organics Coconut Oil Moisturiser with Vanilla, Priia Under Eye concealer Light/Medium, Auromere Ayurvedic toothpaste, St Dalfour Tea. Look out for reviews once I work my way through everything.

Easter is fast approaching, thankfully I can now enjoy a dairy free Easter egg. As a child I was pretty miserable at Easter time, not always that impressed by my gift whilst I watch my sister gorge on eggs (sorry Mum!).  This year I have picked up (from Sainsburys) a Choices Caramel flavoured Easter egg.  It is Dairy, Wheat, Gluten & Egg free, suitable for Vegetarians & Vegans.
