Review Silvan Skincare Skin Therapy Extra Gentle Facial Oil

Review Silvan Skincare Skin Therapy Extra Gentle Facial Oil
I was poorly back in November, four weeks of a cold that turned into a chest infection and in that time my skin went a little fussy despite paying it attention. I broke out with small eczema patches on my face and even now I'm struggling to get rid of it. The bitterly cold weather just adds to the problem, bring on the summer I say.

In my Christmas gift guides I featured Silvan Skincare Skin Therapy Extra Gentle Facial Oil and I've been using it since I wrote that article. To give you a little background Silvan is a small business who hand blend natural skincare which is free from mineral oil, petrochemicals, artificial fragrances, SLS, colours and silicones. The Extra Gentle Facial Oil is part of a face oil range and as the name suggests ideal for sensitive skin and it's free from essential oils.

The blend of ingredients are some of my favourites (apricot, jojoba, evening primrose and rosehip) but the kiwi seed oil is what makes it stand out from the crowd in my bathroom. I understand that kiwi seed can help with elasticity and has high concentrations Omega 3 fatty acids, 60% of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), and it is also a rich source of Vitamins C and E. I find Silvan Extra Gentle Facial Oil light in the sense that my skin absorbs it quickly but rich in that my skin feels hydrated and soothed.

Facial oils are a huge part of Green Beauty, practically every brand will have one in their line and I've featured many on my site. I often find reviews a little tricky because I feel repetitive. The way to distinguish between them is to research ingredients and find their unique qualities. When deciding which one to buy look for ingredients that work with your skin type, don't chose one based on popularity but do go for the best quality you can afford.

Have you tried any products from Silvan Skincare?
