If you have specific dietary requirements we will discuss this with you on an individual basis when you purchase a ticket. As I have allergies this is certainly something I will be managing and shall be liaising with the Hotel.

Our prizes are being donated to us from Botanical Brands (Sponsor), The Rose Tree (Sponsor), Myroo, Bodhi & Birch and Weleda.

Remember the Field Trip Tour of July? Once that was over, Rachel (All Natural Aspirations) decided we needed another gathering and set the wheels in motion for a meet up in Reading. The plan was lunch, shopping and lots of chatting about beauty and learning more about each other. Somewhere along the line Jen (Jen's Green Skincare) and I were roped in to help put together a goody bag for the day. We pooled our contacts and honestly expected to get told to go away but the support we received was overwhelming. We under estimated the generosity and so yes we went slightly overboard and perhaps ended up with the biggest bag ever seen in blogger history, oops! :D

I'd like to personally thank all the brands we contacted between the three of us. I specifically reached out to my favourites as I wanted to give the other ladies a chance to try brands that I personally love. A huge thank you to - Aedos, Bathing BeautyBalmologyBeeutiful, Frank Honest Snacking, Fresh Therapies, Niki's Balms, Nom FoodsPure ThoughtsRebel Kitchen, Suti

The goody bags were organised in secret which was great fun and wonderful to see everyone's reactions. I think it's fair to say that Bodhi & Birch stole the show on the day. I did capture the moment on camera but since my footage is identical to Rachel's I'm unsure whether to bored everyone with uploading it. I had a wonderful day in the company of some amazing bloggers. Thank you to all for your love and support. I can not think of a better way to spend a Sunday, wish we could do it every week.

If you are part of the Green Blogger Community then you probably heard about the Field Trip Tour which was organised by Mayah & Sabrina of Call It Vanity. A quick thank you to Content Beauty & WellbeingNature & Co and Beauty Mart for letting us invade their shops.

I wanted to write my blog post from a different perspective. Visiting stores and stocking up on natural skincare and makeup was a wonderful experience in the presence of like minded people. For me, the day went beyond shopping. It was about meeting the wonderful ladies I spend so much of my time chatting with over twitter. On the whole the blogging community welcomes everyone with open arms but life isn't all unicorns and rainbows. In the last year or two I took a back seat to this community as I was sick of the bitching I have experienced/witnessed. I was tired of the playground bullying but yesterday renewed my faith in bloggers. The Green Blogger Community should be a place of peace, love and harmony, after all isn't that what Green Living is all about?

As I sit here the day after, resting my old bones and sore feet, I want to thank Mayah, Rachel, Jen, Katie, Tania, Liz and Hephzibah for welcoming me with open arms. I truly had an awesome fun filled day and I loved swapping tips on blogging and products. Like many of you have already mentioned, it was a shame that our time with the other group was short and sweet. Shout out to Amber (Amber's Beauty Talk) and Liz (well meaning being) for their awesome hugs. It was also nice to bump into Lilian at Content, even though I didn't recognise her with the new hair do.

If any of you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods, be sure to pop by for a cuppa. Thank you to everyone for being AWESOME xxxx

This week has been an emotional rollercoaster and my blogging bubble has burst. This isn't a sympathy post but more about explaining why I have temporarily lost my blogging mojo.

It's a complex situation that unfolded this week. I received an email which made some horrid accusations against me and apparently this information was given to the writer by another Blogger. I'm not entirely sure if I should believe what has been written. The source of the information is a disgruntled person who, shall we say, got the hump with me because I said, in a private message, the samples they sent were "not to my taste". That's all I said, no more, no less. I then received a couple of hateful messages which I chose to ignore and delete. All in all it's a horrid experience which I hope never to encounter again.

Please remember that not everyone on the internet has good intentions, some will deliberately set out to hurt you. Spreading malicious gossip is a form of bullying and trying to ruin someone's reputation is slander. You are not a nice person if you live your life like this. I hope Karma comes and bites you on the arse!

A huge thank you to all of you who gave me amazing support & advice this week, you know who you are.

I have some exciting news to share but you'll have figured that out from the screenshot and title haha! Late on Friday night I was catching up on Facebook and something caught my attention. I discovered I was runner up in Blogger Awards run by skincare brand Betty Hula. It was unexpected as I'd completely forgotten about my entry into the awards (it was back in June!). I can not deny it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I would like to offer out congratulations to the Winner and fellow runners up.

In case you were wondering the awards are judge by an Independent Judging Panel. The criteria was Judges consider four main factors to select the winning beauty blog: style of blog and writing, investigative reporting and getting to grips with the issue, interaction with followers and readers, point of difference. The awards were open to every beauty blogger, regardless of how long you've been blogging, follower numbers or popularity.
