Review Nourish London Kale Anti-Ageing Eye Cream
(Gifted PR sample)

It has been a while since I featured products from Nourish London. In fact you'll have to dig around in the archives to circa 2012/2013 when I reviewed products from the Relax collection. The branding has been updated over the years but the range still exists. I had a huge love for lavender back in the day but sadly that came to a end when I was diagnosed with a sensitivity to linalool. Eye creams are often formulated without essential oils. I imagine the reason for this may be due to the sensitive and delicate nature of this part of the face.

Nourish London Kale Anti Ageing Eye Cream is formulated with plant extracts but it's the Kale extract which is the key ingredient that is highlighted. It's a vitamin rich component combined with Maqui Berry and Pomegranate enzymes to help counter puffiness and dark circles. Amino acids, B vitamins and antioxidants firm and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

The packaging for this Nourish eye cream is sleek and practical. A pump dispenser helps eradicate the fear of germs often associated with dipping fingers in jars and exposing creams to air. Of course you should always apply products with clean hands. This is a light cream which absorbs quickly without greasiness. It has a gentle cooling sensation and a pleasant aroma. I am in my 40s but I have never been overly concerned about dark circles and wrinkles. I find it hard to judge long term performance however my eyes look more awake when applied in the mornings. I have since passed it onto my Mum who took a keen interest in this product.

I know sometimes gifted reviews are taken with a pinch of salt but Nourish London Kale anti-ageing eye cream comes highly recommended by others. It has been recognised in several awards, most recently Highly Commended as Best Anti-Ageing Range by Natural Health Magazine International Beauty Awards 2019

All Nourish London products are organic, certified vegan, alcohol free and cruelty free. The outer boxes are made with cardboard certified by FSC who promote ethical management of forests and can be recycled. Reviews Love Lula, Ere Perez, Nature's Wish, Saint Come
(gifted/unpaid)

I'm very selective about the products I choose. I study ingredients for a number of reasons, allergies are of course top of the list but also knowing what my skin loves and hates. I don't always get it right and once in a while something that looks good on paper doesn't work out so well for my skin. The reviews that follow were a good selection of products and I made some great choices even if I do say so myself.

Ere Perez Cranberry Lip & Eye Butter
It’s quite unusual for me to experience dry lips but this winter has been a little unkind to me so I was looking for a product to boost the balms I’ve been using. I was initially a little surprised by this product because I would describe it as a light cream and the word “butter” conjures up a richer, thicker texture. Despite this the formula is deeply moisturising and packed full of lush ingredients such as shea butter, almond oil, coconut, cranberry, cucumber and olive oil. I like to apply in the evenings as an intensive treatment so in the morning my lips feel soft and smooth. It does make for a delicate light eye cream however I haven’t made it part of my daily routine. You’ll know from past reviews that Ere Perez is a firm favourite with me, I'm regularly signing the praises of the SOS Marmalade balm and the Cranberry Lip & Eye Butter has also not disappointed.

Nature's Wish Cleanse Unscented Facial Cleansing Oil
When Nature’s Wish popped up on my radar it seemed the obvious choice to select this cleansing oil. I’m very keen to support brands who offer options to consumers with sensitive skin and fragrance allergies. Nature’s Wish unscented cleansing oil has a good formulation with ingredients rosehip, apricot kernel, evening primrose, avocado, macadamia, chia seed, coconut and flower essences of crab apple and olive. If I compare the texture to the Mono cleanser which I reviewed last month, Nature’s Wish feels heavier on the skin. It’s a good product which removes makeup and daily grime without disrupting the delicate balance of my skin. This is a good all rounder which I'd happily recommend.

Saint Come Aromaspray Thyme Cinnamon
You may remember I’ve previously reviewed the mint eucalyptus from Saint Come. It’s been a pleasure to use so I decided to try out another fragrance. I love cinnamon so it seemed a great choice for me. It’s a scent often associated with Christmas and Winter so it feels the perfect fit at this time of year. I obviously encourage people to air their houses naturally, I do crack open the windows but there are times when you need a little pick me up or to mask a little unpleasant odour (like coming home to the bin giving off a whiff because you forgot to empty it). Saint Come uses ingredients that are vegan and natural, packaging is a 100% recyclable bottle.

Hurraw, Joik, Kinvara, Rossi Uvema
(Gifted PR samples)

Rossi Uvema Rice Bran & Borage Seed Face Cleansing Oil
I discovered Rossi back in 2015 so I was already familiar with their range when I was looking for a new cleanser. Rossi Uvema cleansing oil is free from essential oils which is great as I don’t have to worry about the presence of linalool. The formulation is a blend of oils ideal for sensitive skin – rice bran, grapeseed, plum kernel, jojoba, borage seed and avocado. I’ve always been a fan of plum kernel as it gives a scent which reminds me of marzipan (yes I’m the person who enjoys eating their own body weight in marzipan fruits!). You'll know from reading my blog that I love oil cleansers, they rarely disappoint me and I knew I would enjoy this one from simply glancing at the ingredients. I think lighter oils are the perfect balance as they remove easily but hydrate without leaving greasy residue. My one criticism for this cleanser is with the packaging. I would prefer a pump as the spray cap can be a little messy unless I cup my hand close to it. Also I’ve always been informed that oils should be in dark glass bottles so you have to be mindful about storage. Final verdict....really like this one for simple ingredients and that delightful marzipan scent, would I replace? ....YES

Kinvara Skincare Eye Wow! Eye Serum
I rarely use eye products. It's partly due to laziness but I'm also prone to dermatitis and milia. I’m familiar with Kinvara as a brand from judging duties at for Free From Skincare Awards. I’m totally sitting on the fence with the Wow serum. I like the metal roller ball application as it gives a cooling sensation (which is pleasant when tired) but the formulation is super light. I have to hold the bottle upside down and give it a shake because at times it feels like the serum isn’t dispensing. My knowledge of eye creams is pretty poor so I don’t have much comparison. Final verdict.....overall it’s a pleasant product but I don’t quite get the Wow factor, would I replace.....NO

I’m terribly lazy when it comes to taking care of my feet so I thought a foot scrub might spur me on to do something about it. The Joik scrub is made from sea salt which is coarse but bearable on my feet. It’s full of oils so you have to be extremely careful as it made my bath tub slippery and I needed to wipe off the excess using a towel. Super soft feet were the end results and it was nice to have a little pamper session. Final verdict....only disappointment was I miss read the ingredients thinking this scrub was vegan but it contains beeswax.

This is not the first time I’ve tried a Hurraw balm, they are one of my favourite but I fancied adding a new flavour to my collection. Whilst it won’t replace a chocolate bar it does help lift my spirits when I’m trying not to give in to the demands of my sweet tooth. Hurraw balms are suitable for Vegans. Final verdict....love it and have repurchased these balms many times!

Swap YouTuber Favourites for Green Beauty Alternatives #2
The feedback on my first Youtube Swaps post was positive so I have decided to do another for the month of May. So lets get stuck in and I shall tell you my Green Beauty swaps for the following products.

The Body Shop Pinita Colada Shower Gel - if you want to swap out Body Shop products there are two brands that spring to mind. I can't find an exact match for Pina Colada but Dessert Essence Coconut Body Wash and Lavera Exotic Body Wash are coconut scented so you still get that tropical holiday vibe.

Bondi Sands Self Tan Liquid Gold - I'm not a self tan expert but I do know natural alternatives exist. You could switch to Green People Self Tan Lotion, Lavera Self Tanning Lotion or TanOrganic

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Eye Cream - this one needs a luxury green beauty swap as the price tag is pretty steep. Try Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Eye Revitalising Duo, Dr Hauschka Eye Revive, Estelle & Thild BioHydrate Refreshing Eye Gel and Inlight Under Eye Revive.

Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Oil - an easy swap for me as I would recommend Fresh Therapies Nail Elixir

Clarins Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover - with this one I immediately think of Bloom Remedies Eye Make Up Oil Cleanser, not only are the ingredients natural but it's far more affordable in comparison to Clarins.

Laura Mercier almond coconut milk honey bath - lets ditch the honey element of this product and swap it for a Vegan alternative. I'm thinking Living Naturally Coconut Milk & Chai Bathtub Tea would make the perfect replacement.

La Mer The Hand Treatment - there are lots of gorgeous natural hand creams and I could make suggestions for every budget however, given the product claims of Le Mer I think Bodhi & Birch Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum could easily match up to it.

For products I haven't linked above, shop for them at my favourite sites Content Beauty and Naturisimo.com

Estelle & Thild Super Bioactive Repairing Oil Complex, Age Control Serum, Lifting Eye Serum
You may remember I had been using some Estelle & Thild products and was keen to explore more from the range. I accepted an opportunity to trial products from the *Super Bioactive Advance Anti-Age range. I have been using the Repairing Oil Complex, Age Control Serum and Lifting Eye Serum. In case you are wondering I am forty this year so consider myself the target audience for these products. I will say I am not a fan of the term anti-ageing and believe we should embrace growing old but I accept that not everyone feels the same as me. I read an article on cosmeticsdesign-europe.com that suggested "age management" was a better term.

Review Skincere Free From Wheat Soya Dairy Nuts Synthetic Fragrance
When Skincere asked if I would consider reviewing their products curiosity got the better of me so I accepted. I like seeing affordable "green" beauty on the high street and this range is currently stocked at Holland & Barrett which makes it accessible for many people. I also receive reader questions asking for recommendations for skincare products that do not contain some of the top 14 food allergens and Skincere products are free from wheat, dairy, nut oils and soya.

Green People Scent Free Skincare for Sensitive Skin

Green People is a brand I have known and liked for a number of years. It is not a brand I use on a regular basis but it is one I recommend to readers especially those with sensitive skin. Green People products are not tested on animals and never contain: Sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate, parabens, lanolin, phthalates, propylene glycol, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), harsh foaming agents, synthetic fragrances, irritating emulsifiers, PABA-sunscreen, petrochemicals, colourants, urea, DEA, TEA or PEG’S.

I was approached by Green People to take part in their April campaign which is focusing on Sensitive Skin. I received a kit from their Scent Free range which includes Cleanser, 24-Hour Cream and Eye cream. All three products have been a pleasure to use and I was already a fan of their eye cream because I think it is excellent value for money. As these products are scent free they do not contain essential oil which cuts down the chance of irritation. Each product has a netural fragrance from the ingredients in the formulation. There are some good ingredients in these products and I can tell they have been chosen with sensitive skin in minds. You will find shea butter, avocado, evening primrose, aloe vera, jojoba and squalane (from olive). The cleanser removes my makeup well and does not leave skin feeling tight or dry. I have found the moisturiser offers me enough hydration to keep dry patches away. The eye cream is soothing and creamy but without being too heavy. My one minor criticism is I like the uniformity of the packaging and it functions well but there have been a few bleary eyed mornings where I put moisturiser on my face when I actually wanted to cleanse. I did chuckle over my stupidity even more so when I kept repeating my mistake.

During April, Green People are offering 10% off the Scent Free range. If your skin is currently feeling sensitive or irritated this may offer a solution. If you like a fuss free skincare regime then I would also recommend these to you. If you prefer fragranced product, do visit the website and view the other ranges as Green People have an extensive line which covers from head to toe, for all ages. The kit I received is available to buy and contains 50ml cleanser, 50ml moisturiser, 10ml eye cream which is a good trial size to enable you to properly evaluate the performance on your skin.

Have you tried any products from Green People or are they on your wish list?

LJ's Natural Solutions - The Little Bag of Loveliness
I follow LJ’s Natural Solutions on Twitter. They offer organic and natural skincare and specialise in products for eczema and sensitive skin. Lisa had previously sent me a pocket scratchy balm but I decided I would like to explore more of her range.

I bought The Little Bag of Loveliness as it seemed like the perfect way to try other products. The organza bag costs me £4.95 and contained five samples – Balancing Organic Moisturiser, Very Sensitive Organic Moisturiser, Soothing Organic Handbag Hand lotion, Organic Deep Cleansing Balm and Aloe & Seaweed Eye Gel. I have enjoyed using all the samples but there were two products that stood out to me, the Balancing Moisturiser and Cleansing Balm.

I am extremely fussy about scents in moisturisers and was initially hesitant to try the Balancing cream. In the past, I have found some lotions contain overpowering blends of essential oils but this is not the case with LJ’s Natural. The Balancing cream has a delicate aroma of geranium and chamomile. It appears to be a perfect match for my skin type, the middle ground between being rich enough to combat dryness but light enough to sink in quickly. The Sensitive moisturiser has identical ingredients minus the essential oils so performs exactly the same.

LJ's Natural Solutions - The Little Bag of Loveliness
On the other hand the cleansing balm is soft and buttery which is easily massaged across the face. I felt it removed easily with a damp muslin cloth, did not leave behind residue and took off my mineral foundation. My initial impression is it compares very well to other cleansing balms I have reviewed.

The hand lotion has a nice consistency and fragrance. It’s light and does not leave your hands feeling greasy so ideal for using during the day at the office. As for the eye gel, you will know from reading my blog I do not get overly excited by eye creams. It is a good product but I can take it or leave it.

LJ’s Natural Solutions has impressed me and once I use up my stash of moisturisers and cleansers, I will be back for full sizes. The sample kit is a great idea for patch testing and allows you to get a feel for the range. The little pots would also be handy in your overnight bag, there is enough product for a long weekend trip. The website is very detailed with ingredient information and products that require preservatives contain Phenoxyethanol.

Have you tried any products from LJ's Natural Solutions?

Pure Organic Heaven skincare
I have mentioned before that Folksy is one of my favourite sites to browse away a few bored hours. The skincare section is limited in comparison to Etsy but every now and again a little gem pops up. I recently discovered Pure Organic Heaven and I decided this little company deserved some attention on my blog. I contacted Nicole, the founder/owner, for an interview.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and how did Pure Organic Heaven begin?
The reason I started Pure Organic Heaven is because I had a lovely little boy and I did not want to put any chemicals on his delicate skin. I wanted to use only organic products on him but unfortunately found them too expensive for my budget and I struggled to find products which were over 90% organic. Subsequently I started to make my own products to use on him. My Mum then asked me to create a moisturiser (Divine Radiance Facial Moisturiser), my little boy also suffered from eczema so I created a product (Heavenly Healing Balm) which I used on him for a couple of days and his eczema disappeared…and so my product range began. A mother’s quest for natural skincare products to help those I care about.

Why is natural/organic skincare important to you?
Natural / organic skincare is important to me because your skin is your largest organ and absorbs any chemicals you put on it, therefore it is important to keep it as chemical free as possible. Many of my products have coconut oil as the base; I believe it is one of the most amazing ‘presents’ that the Earth has bestowed on us! It is moisturising, has fabulous antibacterial properties along with natural sun filters. I have kept my products as organic as possible, the majority of them are 99% organic, therefore making them some of the most organic skincare products on the markets.

Five words to describe your brand/products
Heavenly, natural, organic, luxurious, caring.

What was the first product you formulated?
The first completely finished product I formulated was my Divine Radiance Facial Moisturiser. I am so pleased I created it as so many of my customers tell me that they have struggled to find a facial moisturiser which is completely natural and organic and also suitable for vegetarians and not tested on animals. So many facial moisturisers contain chemicals and mineral oil which can adversely affect the skin and cause long term ageing and ultimately dehydrate the skin (not at Pure Organic Heaven though!). They also love it because it has an amazing rose geranium scent.

What do you find most challenging when formulating products?
I love the creative aspect of producing new products, it can, however, be quite challenging when trying to produce 100% natural and 99% organic products which are able to compete with high street products in terms of them being luxurious and in relation to their price.

What have been the highs and/or lows of establishing Pure Organic Heaven?
The highs have been creating products and getting so much positive feedback from my customers, it really is amazing to hear people say how much they love something which I have created. The lows have been January and February after experiencing a really successful Christmas period, that’s retail for you and sales are now picking up again and I feel optimistic about the summer.

What does the future hold for Pure Organic Heaven?
I intend to continue trading at local markets (Harrogate Farmers’ Market, Wetherby Farmers’ Market, Otley Craft Fair, Skipton Farmers’ Market), to build up a loyal customer base; I would also like to continue building a customer base online. I would love to expand my product range to include soaps, body washes, shampoos, conditioners and ultimately make-up.

I'd like to thank Nicole for taking time to answer my questions. Products are 100% natural, organic, not tested on animals and no animal ingredients aside from beeswax.

I admit I am not excited about eye creams and it is a step in my routine that often gets forgotten. I am trying to get better at applying them. I prefer a product without the bells and whistles. I just want to maintain the area by keeping away dryness and eczema. I am not overly bothered about dark cycles, I do have them but I do not consider them a major concern.

You may or not know that I was using Green People night eye cream. I think it is a good, inexpensive cream but when it ran out I decided to try something new. I am very fussy about how much I spend and wanted to keep on budget, £10 was my limited. You all know I like Dr Organic Pomegranate Face Cream so that was a good enough reason to buy the matching eye cream.

Dr Organic Pomegranate Advanced Recovery Eye Cream claims to help boost collagen stability, reduce fine lines, wrinkles, under eye puffiness and dark circles and promote cell regeneration. It is free from parabens, SLS, artificial colours, harsh fragrances and preservatives. The active ingredients are pomegranate, aloe vera juice, mango butter, beeswax, buckwheat extract, green tea extract, CO-Q10 and cotton seed oil.

I think this eye cream has a nice thickness which you can dab or layer on, either way it’s adaptable and comparable with Green People. The downside for me is the teeny tiny pot, not ideal for fat fingers and long nails and I definitely prefer a tube. Despite this little annoyance, I do like this cream. It sinks into my skin easily and I feel as if my skin looks brighter and plumper with every application. I don’t think it makes a dramatic difference to my dark circles but maybe I’ll change my mind when I have reached the bottom of the jar.

If you would like to give this eye cream a whirl the Dr Organic range is exclusive to Holland & Barrett. I cannot remember the exact price I paid but it was under a tenner. H&B always have good offers so you can probably grab for less if you are in there shopping for other items. I did do a blog post featuring eye creams under £10 so if Dr Organic does not appeal check that out.

Have you tried this eye cream or do you have a favourite to recommend?

Natural Eye Cream for under £10

I mentioned in my last empties post that my Green People Rejuvenating Eye Cream (night) ran out. I like this cream because it suits my requirements and is under £10. Out of interest I have been looking for other natural/free from and budget friendly eye creams. I ended up buying Dr Organic Pomegranate eye cream and I will review at a later stage. In the meantime here is a list of other brands with an eye cream under £10. I had a little help from Twitter so thank you to those who contributed.

Review MyChelle Dermaceuticals Magnolia Fresh Eyes
I responded to a tweet asking for bloggers to review products from MyChelle Dermaceuticals. I discovered the brand a few months ago when I read a review on skinsmatter.com.

"Founded in Colorado 12 years ago, MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ singular obsession has been to create the most effective, nontoxic skin care products in the country. Today, MyChelle is the #1 brand of facial skin care in the natural products industry simply because our products deliver powerful, quick and visible results without using nasty ingredients or toxic chemicals."

I was sent three products but only one stood out to me and that was the Magnolia Eye Gel (£26 – 15ml). The gel formula sinks into skin after a few minutes. I see a visible difference in the appearance of my dark circles and my eye area feels refreshed and awaken. I can not say that I have noticed a dramatic difference in my dark circles diminishing over time but this worked well as a cosmetic product to perk up eyes first thing in the morning. My before pictures did not come out due to poor lighting but I did include the 'after' picture above. Normally the inner corner of my eye will be more prominent and darker.

"A blend of peptides and plant extracts sheds light on even the darkest under-eye shadows and sends bags packing. Eyeseryl® Peptide strengthens weakened capillaries and supports the release of excess fluid responsible for dark circles and puffiness. Green Coffee stimulates and revives while Magnolia Leaf Extract helps strengthen and promote repair for a well-rested look."

The packaging promises products to be free from harmful ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, ureas, petroleum based chemicals and artificial colours. Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract is used by the brand and I know it is a widely debated ingredient. Full ingredients are visible on the website. This will always get my praise as it is an important part of online shopping to be able to find this information, especially when you have allergies.

As I mentioned there were two other products which left me a little underwhelmed. The Ultimate Lash & Brow (£39 – 15ml) promises "Thicker, fuller, more beautiful-looking lashes and brows in as little as two weeks!" I am blessed with full and long lashes so this was a bit lost on me but I am sure it may appeal to other consumers. The Pure Harmony Mask (£21 – 35ml) sadly did not get past the patch testing stages. You may have seen me tweet a picture of this bright blue face mask. It was a little off putting but it does turn translucent on contact with skin so you do not end up looking like a smurf.
Overall, MyChelle is an interesting brand with a wide range of products suitable for different skin types. Are you familiar with the brand? Have you tried any products?

Sugarpuffish What's in my bin? - January Empties 2013

It's that time again to show you my empty bottles. I've been using these products for several months and they came to and end during January.

Organic Surge Moisture Boost Shampoo - this is the shampoo I stuck to throughout 2012. It suits my hair type perfectly. As I've mentioned before this not the purest of brands and so I always refer to it as "free from". I fancy a change of shampoo so I'm not going to repurchase for the time being.

Antipodes Resurrect Facial Toner - I think this is a great toner and this was my second bottle. Highly recommend.

Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Lotion - I was sent this to review and I like the product. I may repurchase in future.

Naturtint Shampoo - you may recognise the name of this one from the brand of hair dye I use. I won this last year in a Twitter giveaway. A sachet of this comes in the hair dye box. I find it works fine for a one off use following colouring my hair but on a day to day basis I don't like the results.

Blûm Naturals Towelettes - I think these are nice natural wipes. Effective for a quick cleanse when feeling lazy.

Bodhi Desert Rose Face Oil - this is an amazing face oil, I love the brand Bodhi for their ingredients policy and amazing aromas. I was using this sparingly as I never wanted it to end.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream - this brand has a great ingredients policy and a lot of love from bloggers. For me I just don't get on with their products. It's a nice eye cream but I have others I prefer which are more in line with my budget.

2 August 2012

I think every blogger went out and purchased Glamour magazine for the free Balance Me samples. Yes, you guessed it I did as well and opted for the Wonder eye cream. Balance Me products are made in the UK and promise to be free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oils, silicones, DEA, PEGs, propylene glycol, artificial fragrance and colours.

The Wonder Eye Cream is claiming to brighten and smooth the delicate eye area, nothing usual there. It is full of wonderful ingredients like coconut, rosehip, jojoba and carrot oils.

The cream is light in texture, pleasant to use and absorbs quickly. I have not suffered any irritations whilst using this product and as you know that is a common problem for me. My eye area is extremely sensitive. Sadly, there was no wow factor for me with this cream. I neither loved it nor hated it. I already own Green People eye cream and it is very similar. As far as I am concerned they perform identically on my skin. The one difference I can spot which is important to me is Balance Me eye cream costs £20 for 15ml and Green People around £8 for 10ml. Hand on my heart and I am no expert but can I really justify buying the full size. This is not the first time I have felt this way about Balance Me products. Last year I reviewed the Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash which was pleasant to use but I can't get excited by shower gels!

I certainly recommend the brand for their free from ingredient policy. I would not grumble if these appeared in my Christmas Stocking, however, for those on a budget you can find equivalent products with similar ingredients for less money.

Green People Eye Cream
I have never been someone who buys eye cream on a regular basis. The few I have brought, I either lost interest in them or they caused irritation. My eyes are super sensitive and I can get tiny eczema patches in the outer corner. The other month I looked in the mirror and it suddenly dawned on me that my eyes looked dreadful. I decided it was time to invest in a cream.

Aside from finding a suitable sensitive formulation I was not willing to spend large amounts of money. Hours of research later I chose to buy Green People eye cream. They do offer the choice between a day and night cream. I decided that using something overnight was the better option for me because my morning routine is always rushed. There is nothing nicer than waking up to beautiful pampered skin. I bought the Soothing Nourishing Night Treat Eye cream from Feelunique. Let me point out that Green People’s website are calling it Rejuvenating Eye Cream so I am guessing they have changed the name.

Green People have a great ingredient policy. Formulations or products are not tested on animals, products are suitable for Vegetarians and most are registered with the Vegan Society. They are free from parabens, SLS, lanolin, ethyl alcohol, artificial perfumes, petrochemicals, phthalates and colourants.

I was pleasantly surprised that the cream has a light consistency. I assumed it would heavy since facial night creams tend to be thicker. I think there is very little fragrance but apparently it is scent with geranium. I have not suffered any irritation or breakouts of eczema which is a huge relief. The benefit of using this cream is I do feel as if my skin is plumper. Prior to using, what had prompted my purchase was I felt my eyes had become sunken and the skin dull in colour.

Overall, I really like this cream, would happily repurchase and recommend to others. With continual use I do believe it can live up to the promise of rejuvenation. Best of all I love the price £7.65 from Feelunique or £8.50 direct from Green People (FYI - 10ml tube size).

Have you tried Green People skincare? What did you think? Do you have a favourite eye cream?

I probably have mentioned this before but my make up collection consists of the bare minimum of products. My skin is hyper sensitive, my eyes are my most sensitive area I have not used a mascara or eye shadow since my teens 99% of the time I will break out in a rash or eczema. It does not matter if it is a high street brand or natural it can still cause me problems.

I have been looking for a natural concealer. I am lucky to only suffer with occasional pimples so my main use for a concealer is around my eyes where I have dark circles and hyper pigmentation (brown spots). After hours of research I purchased Natural Living Liquid Concealer in Light. It has good reviews and price wise one of the cheaper natural brands (but I still think it’s expensive I paid £12). Natural Living is a 100% natural brand from New Zealand with a very impressive free from list click here. They have formulated an extensive skin care and cosmetic range using my favourite natural ingredient Manuka Oil/Honey.

I have swatch the concealer next to Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer in 51 Light Radiance. Even though they are both in the colour Light you can see there is a big difference. Natural Living is too dark for me but works better if I mix it with my foundation.

The texture is light and easy to work with. I like the packaging as it has a thin long nozzle and helps to ensure you don't over squeeze and waste product. On its own the coverage is fair it does not make my dark circles ‘disappear’ but it does tone down some of the imperfection. Overall, I am sitting on the fence with this product. I don’t hate it but I am not madly in love with it either.
